">The successful candidate will contribute to and assist on projects Australia-wide as a Fire Safety Specialist within our Infrastructure Buildings and Defence national team.
As a Fire Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting and developing fire safety engineering design solutions across buildings, defence, and transport infrastructure projects under the support and guidance of senior management and engineers.
You will work closely with fire protection engineering and other disciplines within KBR and externally as required.
Requirements
">- Degree in fire safety engineering or relevant science- or engineering discipline.
- Working knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and fire safety engineering processes in Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and manage design work and engineering tasks
- Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Ability to prepare and verify design calculations in fire engineering and modelling.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
