About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire Engineering Project Lead to join our team in Melbourne or Brisbane. As a key member of our National Tunnel and Transport Systems team, you will be responsible for delivering fire engineering services on high-profile projects such as High Speed Rail, Suburban Rail Loop IV, Melbourne Underground Rail Loop Upgrade Project, Pumped Hydro projects, T4 Eastern Suburbs Fire Safety Upgrade. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in fire engineering and the ability to communicate complex technical issues to clients and guide them through regulatory processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example by demonstrating a strong safety, technical and quality culture and excellent collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Influential and with exceptional people skills, you will also have genuine market and industry presence with your peers.
  • Drive technical excellence and successful project delivery across a variety of impactful and innovative projects.
  • Design and support mechanical and life safety system installation, testing and commissioning on large scale construction projects.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have/be:
  • A Graduate and/or have a Masters in Fire Safety Engineering.
  • Proven ability in providing key technical expertise across a broad range of high-profile projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and reviewing high quality complex technical information in a variety of formats.
  • Competent in monitoring and managing the scope (including variations) of multiple projects of varying complexity and size and guiding the work of others.
  • Demonstrated multiple instances of delivering best client outcomes/options which have saved the client costs/time and addressed their requirements.
  • Extensive experience in client relationships.
