Supportive School Services Officer

Casual Operational Services Officers play a vital role in supporting school efficiency. The Operational Services Stream is responsible for cleaning and maintaining facilities, grounds, and equipment, as well as canteen services.
About the RoleCasual employment opportunities are available for:
- Canteen Assistants
- Grounds Maintenance
- Cleaners
- Uniform Shop Assistants
Casual employees who have been approved to work can nominate preferred work locations and provide their availability through the Casual Relief System (CRS). They may be called upon on an as-needed basis according to operational needs and employee availability and preference.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out cleaning and maintenance duties efficiently
- Provide high-quality service to students, staff, and visitors
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals

- Schedule work around your personal commitments
- Trade Qualification or equivalent Certificate III for payment at Level 3 or above
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to engage positively with colleagues, students, and the wider community
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work individually and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to apply initiative and manage competing priorities

- Copy of NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and/or ACT Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP)
- Copy of Certification or qualifications (where applicable)

- Be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident or be in Australia on a visa with work rights
