We currently have an opportunity for a Business Support Officer with Defence experience.
Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.
What You'll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Provide responsive support to the Business Manager, actioning tasks such as asset tracking, onboarding, and workforce support activities.
Conduct audits and quality assurance of key business processes and documentation.
Coordinate the uplift and management of internal Share Point and governance platforms.
Support governance, finance, procurement, and records management activities across the business unit.
Develop and maintain business documentation including internal communication plans, induction guides, and supervisor reference material.
What You'll Bring A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience in managing and uplifting online content (e.g.
Share Point) and applying policy and regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured and timely manner, with strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in drafting governance and assurance documentation.
Demonstrated experience in business administration and coordination, ideally within a Defence or similar environment.
