About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our Community Development team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects across a range of sectors, including urban development, land subdivision, and building construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver civil engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project leaders and managers to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other consultants, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and developing proposals to secure new projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering project delivery, with a strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to design and deliver complex civil engineering projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
