About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Civil Engineer to join our Property and Buildings group in Darwin, Australia.

This is a key role in our Civil Engineering team, responsible for delivering high-profile projects and leading small teams. As an Associate Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on iconic projects, collaborate with diverse professionals, and drive future-ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver civil engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Lead small teams and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Assess project specifications, client requirements, and scope of works, ensuring alignment with technical, commercial, and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and national teams to deliver multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor to Masters' level degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable).
  • Excellent expertise in civil engineering, design documentation, and relevant Standards and Codes.
  • Solid industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects, ideally in a consulting environment.
  • High level of expertise in delivering multiple, concurrent projects, ranging in scale and sector.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing civil engineering teams.
  • Adept in cross-discipline project delivery and effective collaboration with all key engineering disciplines.
