Appliance Service Specialist

Our organisation offers a unique opportunity for skilled Field Service Technicians to deliver exceptional service experience for customers.

We seek high-calibre technicians who can utilise their knowledge and expertise to efficiently repair appliances and/or air-conditioners, leveraging spare parts to meet the needs of our valued clients.

As an Appliance Service Specialist, you will work solely on Fisher Paykel group brands, benefiting from highly focussed knowledge and training provided by our organisation.

This role is Monday-Friday with the option to work weekends. Start and finish hours can be agreed with your supervisor prior to commencement.

The role involves delivering professional quality service repairs directly to customers at their residence or in the workshop.

Our organisation prioritises Health and Safety, supporting a "work out of home" model which minimises daily travel to the workshop.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and fully test the operation of the product ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain superior product knowledge through all available training media, service manuals and training sessions
  • Complete all paperwork and documents related to service work and cash collection
  • Maintaining and managing van stock of spare parts inventory

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly desirable: appliance repair and troubleshooting experience
  • Restricted Electrical Workers License (Disconnect & Reconnect Appliances) as a minimum
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical and appliance repair (Cookware, HVAC experience desirable)
  • Strong communication and PC skills
  • Ability to provide premium customer service
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive, friendly approachable nature
