Centre Director

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our team at Windsor Neighbourhood Childcare Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our centre and ensuring that we provide a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program for children.
Key Responsibilities- Centre Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.
- Program Delivery: Oversee the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program that meets the needs of children and families.
- Child Safety and Wellbeing: Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the centre team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Community Engagement: Promote the centre within the local community in accordance with the values and mission of Centacare.
- Qualifications: Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Certifications: Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of Child Care legislation, including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and Early Years Learning Framework & the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
- Technical Skills: Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Leadership and Team Development: Proven leadership and team development skills.
