Wastewater Treatment Trainee Position

This role offers on-the-job training and the chance to complete a nationally recognized qualification while contributing to vital public services.

Job Overview

As a Wastewater Treatment Plant Trainee, you will learn to monitor, operate, and maintain essential wastewater treatment systems. Working under experienced operators, you will develop skills in water quality testing, equipment checks, and compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate wastewater treatment systems
  • Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Develop skills in water quality testing and sampling
  • Work as part of a team to achieve operational goals
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A keen interest in wastewater treatment, environmental science, or utilities
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a physically active role, both indoors and outdoors
  • A current driver's license
  • No previous experience is required – we value a positive attitude and a strong commitment to building a meaningful career
