Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Run change management on in-flight projects to ensure profitable and on-time delivery.
  • Client Relationships: Drive strategic relationships with clients to deliver successful projects and expand engagements.

  • Issue Resolution: Collaboratively solve project issues and respond to escalations.
  • Estimation and Proposal Generation: Drive estimations and proposal generation internally.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership on project execution, approaches to domain problems, and technology and architectural concepts.
  • New Business Development: Assist the sales team in identifying and defining new pieces of work.
  • Engagement Structuring: Structure analysis, design, and development engagements and teams.
  • Strategic Advisement: Provide strategic advisement on project development, project management, and release planning.
  • Status Reporting: Construct appropriate status reporting and other communications to ensure all project stakeholders and ION Group management are well-informed and aligned.
  • Executive Interaction: Interact with C-level executives and other senior stakeholders, including strategy discussions, progress updates, and formal presentations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related work experience.
  • Capital Markets Knowledge: Strong Capital Markets knowledge and experience serving Capital Markets clients.
  • Architectural Experience: Architectural experience within Capital Markets.
  • Consulting Background: Consulting background with a focus on custom technology solutions.
  • Software Development Methodologies: Strong familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Scrum and others.
  • Project Management Experience: Extensive Project Management experience in an Agile model.
  • Client Facing Experience: Senior level client facing experience and other involvement in sales of products or consulting.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience as a strong leader with a proven track record in delivery, leading, and delivering across multiple projects.
  • Complex Technology Projects: Experience working on complex technology projects and problem-solving.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and experience in creating and giving presentations to senior executive audiences and lead teams to success.
