Product Manager - Food Brands


We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Product Manager to join our digital product team at News Corp Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the delivery and execution of the product strategy and roadmap for our Food brands, including Taste.com.au and Australia's Best Recipes.


Key Responsibilities



  • Drive prioritisation, gather and validate requirements, collaborate with business stakeholders and stay across consumer and competitor trends.
  • Work side by side with a multidisciplinary team across the Food brands to drive meaningful product outcomes that will increase user engagement and create growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to unpack business problems, provide expertise in product solutions, share insights into audience trends/engagement, influence company-level buy-in and bring them along on the product journey – from ideation to delivery.
  • Manage a product manager to deliver and maintain the product roadmap.
  • Outline priorities that align to the product and business outcomes.
  • Use data and qualitative and quantitative insights to drive product decisions and align the business on priorities.

Requirements



  • Experienced in digital product strategy, creating scalable product roadmaps and working with delivery teams to hit deadlines and achieve desired product outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills. The ability to build reports, understand the data and most importantly, derive valuable insights from data to guide product decisions.
  • Experience driving complex, cross-functional product initiatives across several dependent teams/platforms that drive high quality outcomes at speed.
  • Strong strategic thinker and problem solver.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience as a senior product manager or a strong product manager looking to move into a senior role.
