Senior Engineering Leadership Role

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership and governance of engineering services operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all technical/engineering services, including mechanical, hydraulic, fire protection, lifts, electrical, building management and security/access control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and governance of engineering services operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery.
  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality technical services, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve asset performance, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on operational expenditure, ensuring effective financial management.
  • Review and optimize maintenance and service agreements to ensure competitive pricing and efficient service delivery.
  • Lead risk management initiatives to minimize potential threats to asset performance and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement asset management strategies, ensuring optimal use of resources.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering/facilities management, with a strong focus on commercial, A Grade or premium grade assets.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of building services systems, maintenance management, contractual procedures, health & safety compliance, and financial control.
  • Strong technical background in either Mechanical or Electrical services.
  • Experience in project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders quickly.
