About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Orderly to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a supportive team environment with full training provided.
  • Our hospital provides a wide range of health services, including orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology, general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography, and obstetrics.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a theatre orderly or in a hospital environment, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient assistance and transfers, including the use of lifting machines and bed movers.
  • General housekeeping duties such as cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking equipment, and waste management.
  • Removing dirty linen and ensuring clean linen is available.
  • Operating in line with WHS policies and procedures.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients.
  • Creating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients.
  • Supporting all work tasks as an active team member.
Essential Criteria
  • Autority to work in Australia.
  • Prior experience as a theatre orderly or in a hospital environment.
  • Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement.
  • Working with Children check.
  • Commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail.
