Job Overview

This is a senior site leadership position overseeing the management of large-scale civil construction projects, with a focus on underground or tunnelling operations.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil or tunnelling construction management and possess strong technical skills.
Responsibilities
  1. To manage daily construction activities across multiple active work zones while maintaining high levels of safety, productivity, and compliance.
  2. To coordinate with engineering, project management, and subcontractor teams to maintain schedules and adapt to site changes.
  3. To oversee quality assurance, environmental compliance, and risk mitigation measures.
  4. To provide clear direction and leadership to site teams across various disciplines.
  5. To monitor cost performance and ensure works are delivered within budget and program constraints.
  6. To maintain open communication with internal teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 15 years of experience in large-scale civil construction with significant exposure to underground or tunnelling projects.
  • 7+ years of senior site-based leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, contract management, and site logistics.
  • Effective communicator with solid reporting and documentation skills.
  • Dedicated to maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
