Key Responsibilities

Lead daily underground construction activities across multiple active work zones, prioritizing safety while ensuring productivity and compliance targets are met.

Coordinate with engineering, project management, and subcontractor teams to maintain schedules and adapt to site changes.

Oversee quality assurance, environmental compliance, and risk mitigation measures.

Provide clear leadership and direction to site teams across civil, services, and tunnelling disciplines.

Monitor cost performance and ensure works are delivered within budget and program constraints.

Maintain effective communication between internal teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.


Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years in large scale civil construction, with strong exposure to underground or tunnelling projects.
  • At least 7 years in a senior site based leadership role.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing contractors.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, contract management, and site logistics.
  • Confident communicator with solid reporting and documentation skills.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
