About the Role
This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to advancing research, education, and sector development in alignment with CQUniversity's strategic priorities and Queensland Government gendered violence reform initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead impactful research projects, supervise postgraduate students, and contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Collaborate with the Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence Research, academic colleagues, and community stakeholders to foster meaningful change in this critical field.
- Take on the position of Head of Course or a similar leadership role within the School for a three-year period from the time of appointment.
What You'll Need
- Hold a doctoral qualification (PhD) plus significant experience in the relevant discipline.
- Strong expertise in gendered violence and the associated service systems.
- Skilled in teaching and supervising university students, with experience in multi-modal delivery methods.
- Proven ability to engage with higher education colleagues to address professional and educational issues to support student success.
- Established research track record with published outputs and leadership in research teams.
