Electrical Engineering Leader for Underground Mining

Mastermyne, a leading coal mine operation, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to oversee the supervision and maintenance of electrical systems at our Cook Colliery mine.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and review electrical engineering standards and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation;
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electrical plant and installations;
- Maintain awareness of electrical safety requirements, records, legislation, and policies, and communicate these to employees;
- Liaise with regulatory bodies as required;
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer who has:
- Practical experience in underground development mining methods;
- An effective leadership style and time management skills;
- An uncompromising commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality;
- A Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from an Australian University or Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering (UEE62311 or UEE62211);
- S123 and G2 Supervisory Certificates;
- Certificate of Competence to be Electrical Engineering Manager;
- First Aid Certificate;
- Emergency preparedness qualification - (RIIERR602D) Establish and maintain underground coal mine emergency preparedness and response systems;
- G3 Certificate - Establish and maintain the risk management system (RIIRIS601D) desirable.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum. This figure is based on industry standards, location, and job requirements.
