Strategic Leader - Defence and Economic Resilience

A pivotal role exists to strengthen Australia's national security and economic resilience by devising long-term strategies and policies to guide and align Defence.

Direct Defence's international engagement, enhance ADF capability and decisions, regulate military and dual-use exports in the national interest, and help build a sovereign industrial base through innovation.

The ideal candidate will lead teams to drive results, mentor team members, conduct meetings to support and influence stakeholders, brief Defence's Senior Leadership, consult with other government agencies, industry stakeholders and the public.

They will contribute to corporate transformational change within a fully integrated civilian-military workforce that draws on high-quality and motivated people from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines.
