Job Opportunity

The position of Technical Field Services Specialist involves supporting a team responsible for the maintenance, repair and upgrade of electronic equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the Sustainment team;
  • Undertake preventative and corrective maintenance activities on electronic equipment;
  • Conduct fault finding and repair at deeper maintenance and component level;
  • Produce technical reports and testing procedures, review and maintain technical documentation;
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful support and maintainability of equipment.

Requirements:

  • Defence security clearance is required; applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance preferably to NV1 level or have the ability to gain one;
  • Ability to travel interstate and/or overseas as required;
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and complex task management;
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines;
  • Adequate technical experience in electronics and related fields;
  • Certificate III in Electronics and Communications Engineering (or related discipline);
  • Industry experience in similar engineering environments, supporting medium subsystems or group of smaller subsystems and/or equipment;
  • Experience in the conduct of maintenance and repairs to a system;
