The Youth Justice Custodial Services team is responsible for engaging young people in change by addressing their offending behaviour and equipping them with the skills required for positive community participation, within a safe and secure environment.
As an administrative professional, you will play a key role in supporting the review, finalisation and implementation of Records Management Local Operating Procedures. This includes undertaking a range of administrative and file management functions, promoting good information management practice, and supporting the management of information and records to ensure departmental compliance.
Key responsibilities will include educating and training business areas on records management, including the appointment and training of a Records Liaison Officer across teams. You will also be responsible for preparing hardcopy records for transfer from active to inactive or archival storage.
- Administrative experience, preferably in a government setting.
- Experience with Office 365 applications, SharePoint, and/or other Electronic Document and Record Management Systems (EDRMS).
- Understanding of records management policies, principles, procedures, and relevant legislation.
