
Specialist Mental Health Nursing Clinical Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our specialist mental health nursing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and management of the team, ensuring optimal clinical processes and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversee the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Lead the development and management of a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist community-based intensive treatment for adults with eating disorders.
- Ensure optimal clinical processes and patient outcomes; manage human and physical resources effectively.
- Lead change and service development initiatives statewide and regionally, including model of care development and the implementation of relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Specialist mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification (or equivalent hospital-based program leading to registration) in Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the United Kingdom.
- Current Working with Children Registration.

- Salary range in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
- 12% employer superannuation.
- Allowances (e.g., Post-Graduate Allowance up to 10%).
