The Role:
  • Provide expert clinical guidance to nursing, medical and allied health staff on managing complex mental health needs of consumers.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate clinical policies, care guidelines and quality improvement initiatives to enhance consumer outcomes.
  • Offer comprehensive case management services to a designated number of consumers with complex needs, including carer education and consultation.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in and deep knowledge of clinical nursing practice in mental health settings.
  • Exhibit thorough understanding of relevant legislation and awards.
  • Possess highly developed interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
