Job Opportunity

The Tasmania Eating Disorder Service delivers integrated specialist care for adults with eating disorders, including Community-Based Intensive Treatment and Residential Recovery Programs.

We are seeking a Clinical Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations and lead the development of a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist community-based intensive treatment for adults with eating disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversee day-to-day operations of TEDS South, enabling high-quality care delivery.
  • Lead the development and management of a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist community-based intensive treatment for adults with eating disorders.
  • Ensure optimal clinical processes and patient outcomes; manage human and physical resources effectively.
  • Lead change and service development initiatives statewide and regionally.
  • Enhance consumer and carer participation in all service levels.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a specialist mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification.
  • Current Working with Children Registration.
  • Desirable: minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in mental health; interest/experience in eating disorders.
