This expert in Microsoft SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases ensures high availability, scalability, and performance.

A day in your role:

  • Design, implement, and maintain databases for optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance database technology usage and proficiency.
  • Develop and maintain database schema, including data modeling, normalization, and denormalization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to meet business database requirements.
  • Implement security, backup, and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Maintain documentation, including database diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Ensure database schema aligns with application requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to product development and technical team.

Your skills and experience:

  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and normalization.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server Management Studio, pgAdmin, and MySQL Workbench.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and Git version control.
  • Skilled in SQL, PL/SQL, and Python scripting.
  • Experience in an Agile environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certification in relevant database technology.
