Sydney, New South Wales, Australia MongoDB Full time

MongoDB empowers innovators to transform industries by unleashing software and data power. Our developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, is a globally distributed, multi-cloud database available in over 115 regions across major cloud providers. You will work alongside our largest customers, solving complex issues and advocating for their needs within our product management and development teams.

As a Technical Services Engineer, you'll be an expert resource on standard methodologies for running MongoDB at scale. You'll contribute to internal projects, including software development of support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics. Our team focuses on engineers enabling their peers to be successful by sharing technical knowledge through informal conversations, training, and workshop sessions.

We are seeking candidates based in Sydney for our hybrid working model. To excel in this role, you should have strong diagnostics and troubleshooting experience, with the ability to analyze issues holistically. A good understanding of Networking concepts and protocols is also essential. Experience supporting complex mission-critical product applications and database systems is desirable.

You'll gain a deep understanding of MongoDB and its ecosystem within three months. In six months, you'll be comfortable working frontline with our customers and complete the MongoDB Certified DBA Associate exam. Within a year, you'll be part of a technical experts group, helping peer engineers in advance diagnostics and handling technical escalations independently.

In terms of compensation, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. This figure may vary based on individual circumstances and is not inclusive of additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or stock options that may be offered by the company.

At MongoDB, we strive to create a collaborative team environment where diverse technical backgrounds and subject matter expertise are valued. If you possess a genuine desire to help people, the ability to think on your feet, and remain calm under pressure while solving problems in real-time, we encourage you to apply.
