About the Role

This is an opportunity to leverage your skills and experience as an Irrigation Technician to deliver exceptional irrigation installation and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards in irrigation system installations and maintenance, ensuring timely completion of tasks within allocated timeframes.
  • Install new irrigation systems that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain and repair existing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Apply horticultural practices to irrigate turf and garden areas effectively.
  • Install and maintain surface and sub-surface drainage systems in turfed and garden areas.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance works on parks infrastructure as required.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Horticulture or a relevant trade certificate.
  • Formal qualifications related to urban irrigation systems.
  • A confined spaces gas test & issue permit licence.
  • A first aid & CPR certificate.
  • A chemical safety - AQF3 accreditation.
  • A confined space rescue licence.
  • A gas test atmosphere licence.
  • A NSW drivers licence (Class LR).
  • An oxygen fuel equipment & handling licence.
  • A white card - general construction induction licence.

Position Details:

This is a permanent full-time position working on a nine-day fortnight schedule.
