We are seeking a skilled Corporate Governance Specialist to join our Group Secretariat team, providing high-quality secretariat and governance services to our onshore subsidiaries.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Corporate Governance Specialist, you will:
- Provide dedicated company secretarial services and corporate governance advice to our onshore subsidiary companies;
- Support the relevant Subsidiary Boards of Directors to meet their governance obligations;
- Apply good judgement and ensure Group Secretariat continues to operate in accordance with the Group's risk and compliance frameworks;
- Engage internal customers and senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor;
- Contribute to the knowledge, growth, development and culture of the Group Secretariat team;
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business or finance;
- A graduate diploma in applied corporate governance (GIA);
- Strong knowledge of secretariat practice, including relevant legislation, regulations and standards;
- A risk mindset, with ability to identify and understand risks and comply with detailed policies and procedures;
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to continuous development;
- Ability to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines and make sound judgements;
- Proven track record of establishing good relationships with senior stakeholders;
