Workplace Relations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled lawyer with at least 3 years post-admission experience and a strong background in employment and workplace relations law.

The successful candidate will have a solid focus on advising and representing employers in workplace-related matters, with an emphasis on developing effective strategies to manage complex issues and disputes.

The role involves drafting employment contracts and enterprise agreements, developing comprehensive employment policies, and assisting with workplace investigations and compliance. You will also be involved in high-stakes cases, including restraint of trade issues, workplace health and safety compliance, and industrial relations matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts and enterprise agreements;
  • Developing and implementing employment policies and procedures;
  • Assisting with workplace investigations and compliance audits;
  • Representing clients in complex restraint of trade issues and disputes;
  • Advising on workplace health and safety compliance and best practices;
  • Handling work, health, and safety complaints and prosecutions;
  • Representing clients in industrial relations matters and negotiations;
  • Managing responses to workplace and equal opportunity claims;
  • Developing and implementing executive termination strategies and mutual exits;
  • Resolving workplace disputes in all Federal and State jurisdictions.
