Job Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Inventory Specialist to join our Warehouse Team. This permanent part-time position offers a stable 24-hour workweek with competitive rates and excellent employee benefits.



Responsibilities



  • Stock and straighten merchandise for sale in the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management and maximum product visibility.
  • Clear and clean aisles, assisting members with their shopping needs and providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising plans and priorities, aligning product displays and stock levels to meet customer demands.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks, box knives, and other equipment to move and position merchandise, including cutting boxes for display accessibility and securing pallets for return.
  • Set up display models, assemble as necessary, and modify displays for safe handling by members, adhering to safety and security procedures.
  • Pull loose cardboard and slip-sheets from the floor, clear sales floor debris, sweep, remove empty pallets, operate cardboard balers and trash compactors, and rewrap loose product using shrink-wrap machines.
  • Provide exceptional member service, assisting with loading large items into carts, directing members to products, and sharing product knowledge.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Experience in stocking and merchandising, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Energetic and hardworking attitude, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and timeliness, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.


Estimated Salary: $25-$30 per hour
