Job Title: Infrastructure Security Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing and securing our organization's core infrastructure services.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record as an Infrastructure Engineer, including 3 years in a senior or architectural role. You will be experienced with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, DHCP, and Azure Active Directory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting, designing, and implementing secure infrastructure services
  • Driving improvements across identity and access, network architecture, and system configurations
  • Leading the technical delivery of infrastructure projects (migrations, upgrades, integration)
  • Acting as a senior escalation point and SME across Windows Server, networking, backup/DR, and authentication
  • Contributing to the documentation, life cycle management, and disaster recovery planning
  • Supporting the adoption of zero-trust principles and secure connectivity across sites and platforms

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record as an Infrastructure Engineer, including 3 years in a senior or architectural role
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, DHCP, and Azure Active Directory
  • Strong understanding of authentication protocols
  • Experience with secure network environments, including VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, routing, and switching
  • Good knowledge of disaster recovery, backup processes, and ensuring systems stay online across on-prem and cloud environments
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as the Essential Eight or CIS Benchmarks
