Job Title: Infrastructure Security Architect

This is an exciting opportunity to modernise and secure a tech environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and securing infrastructure, including on-premise, cloud, and network platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing core infrastructure services with a strong security focus.
  • Improving identity and access management, secure network architecture, and system configurations.
  • Leading the technical delivery of infrastructure projects (migrations, upgrades, integration).
  • Serving as a senior escalation point and SME across Windows Server, networking, backup/DR, and authentication.
  • Contributing to documentation, life cycle management, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Supporting the adoption of zero-trust principles and secure connectivity across sites and platforms.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in a senior/architectural role.
  • Strong understanding of authentication protocols.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies such as AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Azure AD.
  • Knowledge of secure network environments, including VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, routing, switching.
  • Good understanding of disaster recovery, backup processes, and ensuring systems stay online across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as Essential Eight or CIS Benchmarks.
