Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst. This individual will play a critical role in gathering and analyzing business requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of key software systems.


About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the requirements gathering process by conducting interviews, workshops, and document analysis to understand business needs and objectives. They will also act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Produce drafts of requirements documents, lead/manage the review of those documents with stakeholders, achieve approval and signoff of requirements documents.
  • Lead the analysis and design stage, arrange and lead any communication, meetings, and workshops for this stage.
  • Work closely with technical leads, ensuring they have sufficient understanding of functional requirements to design system architecture.
  • Resolve issues raised by developers and testers during development and testing stages, in relation to specification questions and ambiguities, communicating with stakeholders wherever necessary.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:


  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Extensive experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimsCenter, including implementation and customization.
  • Strong understanding of insurance industry processes, including policy administration, billing, and claims management.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
