Maritime Security Role

This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of maritime zones.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Access control: Controlling persons and vehicles according to MTOFSA regulations.
  • Site monitoring: Foot and vehicle patrols to check WHS and CCTV surveillance systems.
  • Site response: Responding to alarms, checking emails, administration, and required reporting.
  • Perimeter security: Ensuring no unauthorized access to the site or vulnerabilities to physical and electronic security integrity.
  • Surveillance: Monitoring entry gates, screening areas, site buildings, and grounds via CCTV, access control systems, and visitor management processes.
Key Qualifications:
  • A Certificate II in Security Operations.
  • A current and applicable Security license.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
  • Occupational First Aid - Level 3.
  • A Current Valid driving license.
Essential Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Prior CCTV monitoring experience is highly regarded.
  • Ability and experience writing detailed incident reports.
  • Experience using access control systems.
