Renewable Energy Safety Specialist

This position plays a critical role in the transition to Australia's clean energy future. The company is leading the way in renewable energy, and this opportunity is ideal for an experienced Health & Safety Business Partner.
As a Senior Health & Safety Business Partner with Zenergy, you will oversee works undertaken by Joint Venture Contractors on major projects. This includes managing contracted specialist services, ensuring compliance with H&S auditing and implementation of AS 4801 and ISO45001.
You will report to the H&S Manager and collaborate closely with H&S team members across delivery of major projects. Your strong understanding of H&S legislative agencies, relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards, and Guidelines will be invaluable in this role.
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification at degree level in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline. Hands-on experience in the transmission industry, large construction, or infrastructure projects is essential.
A high level of written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills, is required. You must also possess self-management abilities, work effectively under pressure, and be able to work in a team environment. A SafeWork, NSW White Card, and current driver's licence are mandatory requirements.
