About the Role:

Our client is a leading provider of high-quality electrical works for substations and EPC contracts in the renewable energy sector. With a strong pipeline of projects across Australia, they are expanding rapidly and need skilled professionals to support their growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and experience in the construction, electrical, or renewable energy sectors. They will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety across our renewable energy projects, working closely with project teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations, and implementing safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of HSE policies and procedures across projects
  • Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with local and industry safety standards
  • Assist in accident/incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Provide HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure proactive safety management
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance and improvement plans
  • Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example on-site

Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in Health, Safety, and Environment (Certificate IV in WHS or similar)
  • Experience or interest in the construction, electrical, or renewable energy sectors
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (ISO 45001 or similar preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse teams
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
