Transformative Opportunity

GHD's Natural Resources group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our ecology team in NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects in the areas of conservation, impact assessment, and monitoring.

You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects, including vegetation surveys, ecological impact assessments, and offsetting. Our team is passionate about delivering innovative solutions to complex ecological problems, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.

As a Senior Ecologist with GHD, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including government agencies, private companies, and community groups. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, as well as collaborating with our team of ecologists, engineers, and other professionals to deliver projects.

We are looking for someone with a strong ability to develop and build upon client relationships, as well as experience in preparing technical reports, including BDARs, BCARs, and BSSARs. You will also need to have good botanical identification skills, including experience using dissecting microscopes and identification keys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-profile projects in the areas of conservation, impact assessment, and monitoring
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Collaborate with our team of ecologists, engineers, and other professionals to deliver projects
  • Prepare technical reports, including BDARs, BCARs, and BSSARs
  • Have good botanical identification skills, including experience using dissecting microscopes and identification keys
