Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join our NSW Ecology team, who will contribute to our reputation for ecological projects across NSW and grow our service capacity in this area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field surveys and assessments to gather ecological data
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders
  • Project manage medium and large-scale development and/or biodiversity offsetting projects
  • Prepare and review reports to deliver high-quality results
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, botany, zoology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in ecology and conservation biology
  • Accreditation or experience under the NSW Biodiversity Offset Scheme is highly desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience preparing and reviewing reports
