Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Event Operations Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and be able to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • Help create exceptional experiences for our guests by ensuring every guest feels cared for, valued and respected
  • Recognize repeat clients and make them feel valued and welcomed back
  • Liaise with Event Organisers, taking care of their requirements on the day and making sure their experience is stress free and hospitable
  • Be knowledgeable about various dietary requirements
  • Ensure that everything is in the room and ready for the event ahead of time

Responsibilities:

The Event Operations Team Leader will be responsible for:

  • Making sure your team is on time, ready and knows what to do on their shift
  • Helping to complete Job Skills Checklists for new team members
  • Liaising closely with Event Sales if a problem occurs
  • Assisting with training team members in product knowledge so that you can give our clients the best service and advice possible
  • Ensuring that all our team conduct themselves in a manner consistent with good Occupational Safety and Health practices
  • Being aware of Meeting Planner in SALT and viewing comments to make recommendations to improve our service levels
  • Checking and completing shift log books, making sure that all client activity is noted and followed up promptly

  • Knowledge of meeting and event planning principles and practices
