Job Title: IT Commercial Manager

This key role involves overseeing and optimizing our IT vendor landscape, aligning it with the organization's strategic objectives.

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key IT vendors, ensuring they meet performance expectations and deliver mutual value.
  • Commercial Contract Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end commercial lifecycle for all IT contracts, including complex negotiations for software licenses, cloud services, and managed services.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Drive the identification and selection of IT vendors that perfectly align with our company strategy, leveraging expertise in the energy/utilities sector vendor landscape.
  • Capability Growth: Play a key role in growing our IT vendor management capability, improving processes, and strengthening governance within the team.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Significant experience analyzing and supporting commercial processes within a project or program environment is essential.
  • An in-depth understanding of commercial contracts, agreements, and negotiations, with a proven ability to manage vendor and supplier relationships, is necessary.
  • A strong track record of successfully negotiating complex IT contracts (enterprise software, cloud services, managed services) and delivering significant savings/value is crucial.
