The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled case manager to work independently, providing timely and personalized face-to-face claims management and on-the-spot treatment approvals. You will be able to manage your own day, building on your solid case management experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized face-to-face assistance to workers and employers over a defined period of time as agreed with the team.
  • Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders, including workers, employers, and providers.
  • Conduct community visits, including but not limited to work sites or medical clinics.
  • Proactively achieve the optimum outcome of recovery and early sustainable return to work for workers.
  • Consult with the team, providers, employers, and Return to Work Specialist as required.
About This Opportunity

We are looking for someone with proven case management experience and the ability to return people to the workforce. Knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislation and regulations is essential.

An effective listener and conflict resolution skills are also crucial, as well as the ability to understand the needs of people recovering from a physical or psychological injury.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, written and verbal proficiency are must-haves, as well as understanding of medical terminology and injury recovery timeframes.

You will need to have your own vehicle with a 5-star ANCAP rating, insurance, and a current unrestricted NSW Driver's License.
