Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Case management for manageable caseloads, supported by Rehabilitation Assistants
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, and medical and allied health professionals
  • Completing assessments using clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, or Physiotherapy
  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
  • Clinical knowledge of pathologies
  • Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
  • Excellent time management skills, working autonomously and within a team environment
  • Desire to problem-solve, innovate, and achieve results
  • Passion for injury prevention, return to work, and associated health benefits
  • Energy and drive to grow our services
  • Current driver's license and access to their own vehicle
