About the Role:

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in delivering technically excellent projects that shape the future of water infrastructure. Our team of 300+ water sector specialists is passionate about creating innovative solutions that build healthy communities and sustainable outcomes throughout both urban and regional Australia.

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Sydney office and contribute to our national water business. This role is ideal for someone with established experience who is looking to take the next step in their career by working on a diverse range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

You will have the opportunity to work on structural design for conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and treatment facilities. As part of a collaborative team, you'll gain exposure to end-to-end project delivery, including design, documentation, and construction phase support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in structural design within a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Hands-on involvement in project delivery, including scoping, detailed design, and construction phase support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and project teams.
  • An interest in client engagement, with a willingness to strengthen existing relationships and develop new connections.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and career progression, with aspirations to mentor junior engineers over time.

Requirements:

We're looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, who has established experience in the water and wastewater sector or a related field. You have developed a solid foundation in structural design, analysis, and documentation and are eager to step into a role with more technical responsibility and client interaction.
