As a dynamic operations leader, this role offers the opportunity to oversee daily site activities and drive performance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient management of all operational activities, fostering teamwork, and maintaining high standards of service delivery for valued customers.

This is a challenging role with diverse tasks varying every day. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of operations professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate results in line with Service Level Agreements.
  • Analysing operational performance, implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensuring site compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory requirements, driving a culture of compliance and safety.
  • Managing resources and logistics to optimise operational costs, improve service levels, and exceed customer expectations.
  • Providing training, support, and development opportunities for team members, including identification of talent and succession planning.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in operations management within the 3PL logistics or supply chain industry, ideally within a cold chain or pharmaceutical warehouse.
  • Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to engage, motivate, and develop your team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional outlook.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field will be highly regarded.
