Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as an NDIS Specialist. As part of our dynamic and diverse workforce, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community.
About the Role
This is a Temporary Full-Time position available from 02 March 2025 (with possibility of extension). The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing the NDIS Early Childhood framework with particular emphasis on building relationships and capacity in the early childhood education sector.
The Early Childhood Educator will operate from a flexible, family-centred, transdisciplinary model that is responsive to cultural context, local need, and priorities with potential variation in workforce/team members. This requires the incumbent to have qualification in Early Childhood Education.
Responsibilities
- To deliver NDIS Early Childhood supports in the Torres and Northern Peninsula Area
- To implement the NDIS Early Childhood framework with particular emphasis on building relationships and capacity in the early childhood education sector
- To work from a flexible, family-centred, transdisciplinary model that is responsive to cultural context, local need, and priorities with potential variation in workforce/team members
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
