Job Summary
Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) is seeking a highly skilled Financial Governance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role
We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in financial management and governance to oversee the Management Accounting and Grants function. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing grants and funding agreements, analysing budget variances, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions. Additionally, they will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to optimise financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and manage grants and funding agreements to ensure compliance and accurate reporting
* Analyse budget variances, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to optimise financial outcomes
* Advise and train managers on managing program budgets and financial processes
* Contribute to financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders

NQPHN works together with our partners to connect existing local services to simplify the healthcare system, fund primary care and mental health services based on the needs of local communities, and support primary care and mental health providers to build their skills and deliver the highest quality patient care.

Your Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related field, with a minimum of three years professional experience in finance or extensive experience in grant management. Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and managing grant funding acquittals. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver quality financial outcomes. Proficiency in accounting software and developing analytical reports.

Benefits
The salary range for this role is $86,970 - $106,297 per annum, dependent on skills and qualifications. We also offer flexible working arrangements and salary sacrifice up to $15,900.
