Project Support Specialist

This role involves providing comprehensive project support including monitoring project plans, ensuring timely completion, updating risks and issues, producing reports and briefing packs, managing logistical requirements, as well as providing administrative support to the Project Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assisting and supporting the Project Manager in their daily duties.
  • Capturing and analyzing relevant management information.
  • Assigning tasks and holding weekly Project Check In meetings to track progress.
  • Collaborating with the team to remove blockers.
  • Controlling schedules; scheduling projects and allocating resources.
  • Tracking, analyzing and communicating project risks and opportunities.
  • Overseeing procurement and communicating to stakeholders any issues arising.
  • Involved in coordinating projects from inception to completion.
  • Developing training and briefing material for staff.
  • Maintaining close contact with key project members and decision makers.
  • Tracking and reporting project progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven skills in written and verbal communications.
  • Familiarity with basic project management strategies and tools.
  • Able to articulate and communicate services effectively with stakeholders.
  • Basic relationship management, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure.
