Business Operations Specialist

">Key Responsibilities:

The Business Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our division. This involves supporting leadership and staff with contract management, risk analysis, reporting, policy coordination, governance, and divisional initiatives.

In this capacity, you will oversee the workload of the administration team and lead the delivery of high-quality administrative support. Key tasks include preparing and reviewing internal and external reports, drafting contracts and procurement documents, assisting with budget preparation and monitoring, and providing governance and meeting support.

Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining administrative systems, undertaking research and analysis, and facilitating risk workshops and maintaining risk registers.

You will also provide finance, invoicing, and business support for special events, projects, and public art initiatives.

  • Administrative experience, business coordination, or office management skills are essential.
  • Financial management, procurement, and contract process expertise is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines, are crucial.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and documentation, are required.
  • Experience in governance, risk, or compliance activities is beneficial.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to streamline processes and improve systems is ideal.
