We are currently seeking an Operational Technology Specialist to join our IT team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Perth corporate office.

Reporting to the Manager IT Service Delivery, you will provide architecture thought leadership to Operational Technology (OT) systems, design OT systems to meet business needs and conduct proactive maintenance.

**The opportunity**
- Designing OT systems and providing technical direction in the critical OT systems environment.
- Undertaking evaluations of the existing solutions and identifying proactive maintenance tasks to ensure continuous operations.
- Coordinating rapid remediation in the event of an OT systems outage.
- Managing external suppliers to scope and deliver pre-emptive and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Managing external suppliers and internal stakeholders to provision and deprovision OT systems during the changing mine lifecycle.
- Conducting continuous assessments to develop and update equipment refurbishment specifications.
- Engaging site operations stakeholders during events, incidents and changes.
- Performing maintenance activities that reduce failure rates and downtime of equipment.
- Coordinating continuous assessments to develop and update equipment refurbishment specifications.
- Providing day-to-day technical advice, problem solving and support for the site Process Control systems.
- Taking ownership and driving the Technology Refresh program and supporting delivery promises.

**We would love to hear from you if you have**:

- Relevant Trade or Tertiary Qualification (IT/Electrical/Instrumentation).
- Experience with install, maintenance and troubleshooting of process control systems in a mining environment.
- Ability to design process control documentation, specifications, and standards.
- Solid understanding of Industrial design standards, industrial network protocols, technologies and OT best practices.
- Support and maintenance of SCADA, HMI and Historian systems experience.
- Broad IT experience (networking fundamentals, backup technologies, windows knowledge)
