Key Events Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Events Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing key organisational events, conferences, and workshops.

  • Event Planning: Conceptualise and plan large-scale events, including conferences, workshops, and program area events.
  • Budget Management: Manage event budgets, source venues and suppliers, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Communication: Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries relating to key organisational events, and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, managers, and employees at all levels.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and execute projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in event coordination, excellent time management skills, strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural organisation and communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
