Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Ruby on Rails professional to spearhead the redevelopment and enhancement of an existing application catering to the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, a fast learner, and capable of adding value to the project with their expertise.

The successful applicant will join our team as a Developer and take ownership, drive, and influence the best technical direction while working on this exciting new project.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • TDD (Test Driven Development)
  • Demonstrable commercial full stack Ruby on Rails development experience (5+ years)
  • Proven record of building sophisticated Rails applications that integrate with various third-party services
  • Proven experience with Linux, preferably experience setting up Ruby on Rails in a Linux environment
  • Proven experience with relational data modelling and SQL
  • Proven experience analysing existing application processes and designing and implementing improvements
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM related development methodologies and technologies
